Assistant Director of Nursing

Mabelle Nuyles joined The Plaza at Kaneohe as the first Charge Nurse of Lamaku. She transferred to The Plaza at Mililani and provided care for the residents for 1 1/2 years before deciding to return to The Plaza at Kaneohe. She eventually became one of the Nurse Supervisors and 2 years later was promoted to Assistant Director of Nursing.

Belle was born and raised in the Philippines where she acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She moved to the U.S. and lived in California and Texas before finding her permanent home in Hawaii. Her nursing experience includes working at a hospital in the Philippines and in skilled nursing facilities in the mainland and Hawaii.

She enjoys being with her husband and son and playing with their dog, Koa. Belle also likes traveling, shopping, and watching Korean dramas. Belle considers The Plaza at Kaneohe as her second home.
