Michele Hanson

Assistant Director of Nursing

Michele Hanson began her medical experience studying radiology and graduated from Kapiolani Community College’s Licensed Practical Nurse program. She began her career at the Blood Bank of Hawaii in multiple positions which included Collections Department trainer, Team Leader, and Compliance Specialist. Michele began at The Plaza as a Charge Nurse, changed position to Nursing Supervisor, and then to Lead Charge Nurse. She is currently the Assistant Director of Nursing at The Plaza of Moanalua.

Michele was born and raised on Hawaii Island. She spent most of her time working with animals including raising goats and horseback riding. She enjoys working with people, getting in the water, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and crafting every now and then.
